The First Leigh Brownies
The pack was started in 1968 as a loan pack within the village, meeting on Wednesday evenings in term time between 6pm and 7.30pm in the Village Hall (Abbots Pass).

The Brownies do many craft and skill activities such as backwoods cooking, trail hunts etc.  They have recently changed to a more modern style of uniform than in the past.  The leader is Antonia Thompson (Brown Owl) email: and there is also Snowy Owl and Tawny Owl and some young leaders, many of whom come to do their Duke of Edinburgh Award.

The Brownies visited No 10 Downing Street with Brockham Brownies, did first aid, and also went kayaking at Southwater.
