Art Group

The Leigh Art Group was formed as the Leigh Watercolour Group in 2005 by Maureen Judd, and the membership has been growing every term.  It comprises beginners as well as those with more experience, and nobody ever feels out of place.

The Group meets in Leigh Village Hall every Monday afternoon from 2.00 to 4.00 pm.  It is a happy group, and while lots of painting is done, there is always time for tea and a chat at half time.  Each person contributes to the cost of the hire of the hall and also to tea and biscuits.  It is either £1 or £2 a session.
